What is Project Blacksburg?

We are a group of students, leaders, and neighbors in Blacksburg, VA, dedicated to making a positive impact on the community through service projects and open discussions. Our organization is founded on the Muslim principles of serving those in need and building a strong community to benefit all.

Morocco and Libya 2023

Thank you for participating in the Bake Sale, Potluck, and Auction. $3,706.27 was raised.  These funds are on their way to Morocco and Libya which will help families rebuild during these hard times.

Gaza and Sudan Humanitarian Aid (Ramadan 2024)

By partnering with various organizations on and off campus such as MSA, SPJP, SSO, BHS MSA, Youth Group, and more we raised $5,600. 

These funds have been split between various organizations to maximize usefulness. These organizations include Islamic Relief, Sudanese American Physicians Association, Sadagaat USA, Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, and Palestinian American Bridge.
